Hi Cindy! I'm so excited to have found you!! I, too, live with chronic pain- every. single. day.
Is there a prompt list you're using to make this journey? I saw on YT you have many pages/chapters completed. I'm wondering if you're working through a workbook, online pain class, in person pain class, another blog, or something else like this. I went to an 8 week "Pain Management Through Art" workshop in the pain clinic I go to. For that workshop, it didn't necessarily help me learn to manage my pain better, however, it got me back to loving art and doing it again. Since then, I have been slowly painting and creating again, and love it.
Anyway, this is why I'm wondering if you are working through something "formal", or doing what you come up with to help you.
Thank you!

Hi!! Chronic pain isn't fun is it!! I am actually just sharing what I have been thru. I went through a 20 week pain management and learned a lot about what I can do,, to control my pain,, to live a fulfilled life, and to enjoy my new normal. I have learned thru trial and error that my body responds favorably to ice,,not heat,, that I have to listen to it when its saying,, uh,,no I dont' think so!! I have to give in and actually change my position,, or ice,, or just stop whatever I may be doing. It is a journey filled with many emotions good and bad. Using your art you can work thru these emotions as well as any highs or lows. Don't be afraid to let your art be dark or wonky.. its all good,, an expression of you and what you are going thru. Big huge gentle ((((hugs))))

Hi.  I was a "normal" gal just living, working and playing until "IT" happened.  The accident that changed my entire life as I knew it.  This is my story.  I hope you follow along and somewhere along this journey find inspiration to accept where you are in life and work within those bounds.  Most of all,, Have Fun,, That's what life is all about!!
